In the Absence of Discomfort is the story of one woman’s courageous fight to unveil her true identity. It is the story of shedding the bonds of societal norms, and stepping outside the proverbial box in the pursuit of true love. It is a tale of coming of age when you’re middle aged. It is the story of finding you in the most unexpected ways and ultimately achieving happiness and healing. It is the story of coming alive.
I’m Kelly Liken Booker (she/they), a neurodivergent queer mama, writer, and embodied yoga guide.
Through storytelling, trauma-informed embodiment practices, and inclusive spiritual frameworks, I help creatives, parents, and seekers root into their truth and rise as their whole, authentic selves.
I support those navigating identity, parenthood, neurodivergence, and healing beyond societal expectations — especially those standing at the messy, sacred intersections of personal transformation.
Through my Substack newsletter, Unruly Grace, and my work as a Transformation Doula, I offer spaces where truth is honored, self-trust is rebuilt, and becoming is celebrated.
